22oz. bottle from Trinity Liquors in Spring Hill, FL. Pours a dark red-brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is very sweet....Chocolate, licorice, quite a bit of mollasses. Flavor is of bitter dark chocolate, mollasses, black coffee, licorice, and raisins. This is super smooth...medium to thick mouthfeel...Great warm ending. This one doesnt get enough credit...Tastes like a Baltic Porter to me...This on is FANTASTIC.

(Sample Date: 1/20/2009 Source:Capital Ale House - Downtown) Aroma of cigarette smoke (not in the beer), carmelized dark sugars. Very dark with small fine tan head with good persistence. Creamy full mouthfeel and body. Spicy with dark fruits and an almost ppeppry quality. Dry moderately bitter finish, and big alcohol warming.

Bottle. 02/09. Dark opaque pour, a fair amount of quickly receding beige head. Heavily roasted aromas, with some molasses. Rich and intensely sweet forward. Heavy body with some little carbonation. Finishes fairly dry with the roasted malts coming out strongly, as well as a little smoke.

bomber poured into a Delirium Noel Snifter. Pours a deep brown out of the bottle and settles into a nice black with an average tan head... some lacing throughout. Some sweet malt and mild dark fruit aromas. Medium body with some bitterness up front along with some apple, raisin, molasses, plum and sweet banana. The body carries through up top and has a strong somewhat bitter finish along with a touch of alcohol. This is quite delicious and a very solid strong ale. Highly recommended to those who enjoy a dynamic and flavorful body with a bit of strength to round it out.

Bottle from utobeer. Alround rating: Sweet roasty malts, chocolate, candy sugar caramalt, some fruity plums, small pineapple citrusy note, on the sweeter side, but good carbonation made it easily drinkable for the % Rerate: tap at the rake: Big bold and too much, nothign really holding it together.

Bomber. A perfectly black body with a bit of garnet at the edges and a large light brown tan head. The aroma is like cherry candy with some caramel. There is also some earthy leather. The taste has some leather and cherries. There is also some plum and cough syrup in the finish. It is almost like this brew is slightly oxidized even though it is relatively fresh. Meant for sipping, this one is ok, but a little harsh in it’s finish. Now that I have had it again with a little more age, the rough edges have smoothed out nicely. This beer is improving with age.

Poured a clear very deep brown color with a small off-white head. Sweet toasted malt, with caramel and black cherry skin. Fruity malt with a hint of chocolate toward the finish. Sweet and warming. Medium to full bodied and smooth on the tongue. Some alochol pepper bite.
