Pours very dark near black with mahogany highlights and small ring in tan head. Nose of dark rum soaked fruits and brown sugar. Flavor is about the same with a bit of a hop bitterness in the finish. Pours a very dark brown that only allows light to pass along the edges. Moderate, creamy tan head that lasted through the first third of the glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of roasted malt and brown sugar. Very flavorful with rich malt, brown sugar, molasses and raisins. Medium bitterness and somewhat boozy at the finish. Very good. ehhdayton (1113), USA
