Pour is brown producing a medium beige head that quickly fades. Very light aroma. Grainy malt is noticeable as is a light hint of chocolate and a brown sugar note. Flavor has a pronounced brown sugar quality within the thin body. There’s a slight metallic bite at the finish.

Pours a dark brown color with some small spots but not much head retention. the nose is earthy with some traces of mild bitter hops , also smells like wet dog. The flavor is very tart and bitter on the tip of your tounge but it mellows out the more you drink it. The finish leaves a tart earthy and nutty aftertaste in your mouth.

The aroma was by far the best aspect of this beer: very malty and rich with almost no hop boquet. The beer pours a dark brown with a small very short lived head. The flavor is the worst aspect. It tastes a lot like my first homebrew. The strong malts cannot compete with the off tasting yeast characteristics. Acidic aftertaste.

Brown; amber head. Aroma of roasty caramel malts & subtle berries. Flavors also include cocoa, Brazil nuts, toasty malts, bitter chocolate, earthiness. Rich and flavorful with a slightly bitter finish.

Pours dark reddish brown with a mostly receding tan wispy head. Aroma of dark bread, rye, caramel, molasses and toasted malt. Taste of chocolate, caramel, bready and crispy crackery malt. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. A very nice brown ale.

Bottle. Amber color, offwhite head. Malty chocolate aroma, a bit unfresh. Roasted malt flavor, a bit too thin.

Deep brown in color with small light tan foamy head. Sweet malty aroma with a little hops. Sweet slightly syrupy taste with toasty coffee/chocolate flavor and easy finish. Smooth and light/medium mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours very dark red/brown with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and toasted bread. Medium body. Flavor is roasted malt, burnt wood and coffee. Exceeded my expectations, very enjoyable.
