Bottle pours a medium, light tan head. Aromas of coffee, similar to a porter. Rich, full, well balanced malty flavor of chocolate, with a really bright note lingering. Maybe a bit over-carbonated. At present I see I’m the highest rating on the page. Oy. I like it. So shoot me already.

Draft. Pours a reddish brown. Very thick and malty. This beer is pretty good, has a sugary aroma and tastes a bit nutty.

Pours to a red hued brown body with a very thick and lasting rocky light beige head. The aroma is a nutty, lightly floral, and brown sugar aroma. The flavor is interestingly roasty. Nutty but not overly so. Dry roast, sweet dark and lightly burnt sugars. The palate is roasty, creamy/velvety.

Bottle. Pretty good, but standard. Malty, and some bitterness. Decent and nothing to call home about

Decently hopped, but not enough to impress. Fairly malty, but not overly sweet as some nut browns tend to get. The aroma and flavor were caramel sweet with hints of raw sugar and roasted coffee. All in all not a bad example.

A nice showing from a competent brewer (although, not special). The appearance was dark brown with a thin head that fizzled away with the carbonation. Lacing was decent. The aroma was nutty and caramel-like. Flavor featured a decent hop showing underneath the usual brown ale flavors. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel was moderate to light for the style with significant carbonation.

Deep brown with a red tint. A pleasant sweet nutty caramel aroma and taste. Nice carbonation level with a creamy head. Medium to light body, not a bad beer.

Bottle-Poured a dark brown, almost black with a small, nearly creamy head the dissipated. The taste was mostly of malts along with the aroma. Nice, but it just coming up short in comparision to its appearance.
