Pours a heavy black with a tall tiny bubbled head. West coast hops aroma, more of a pale ale aroma with the faintest touch of roasted barley. Pour thick feels thin. Chocolate, light coffee and vanilla flavors. Sweet juniper finish. I will not drop my nets and follow you.

A middle of the road beer. Nice dark color, overly carbonated though. Thin bodied, needs more assertive flavors. Also needs to come in smaller bottles. And the guys hair needs to be longer, and the girls shorter...

This beer looks absolutely amazing...black as night color with a huge, thick, creamy brown head. The aroma was mostly characterized by some cascade hops sour-apple bitterness, and a slight hint of coffee. The flavor was very mild...bland really...and did not deliver any of the promising flavors of a quality stout. The feel was too thin...surprisingly watery. Not a great stout, but not as horrible as some make it sound.

A very nice stout. Dark brown head to a very nearly pitch black beer. Nice roasted flavor with the lightest hint of cherry.

Bottle. Black color with a foamy brown head. Some tart (cherry) fruit aroma along with the roasted notes. A grainy malt and roasted flavor. I’m kind of surprised at the diss too. At least the appearance is solid. Maybe a touch thin, but still a solid stout.

This beer is really, really good. That"s the bottom line. So what if it"s more of a porter than a stout and the label shows entirely too much chest hair, it"s still a nice bittersweet slightly smoky brew

Dark brown color, nice tan foamy head, light hoppy and roasty aroma. Light burnt flavors has some sourness, some what of a hoppy bitter, dry finish, very thin and watery, the worst beer I have had from this otherwise great brewery.

I love stouts but this one had an olive after taste. I hate olives
