I believe Dabosk has something to say about this beer...

Black color. Very nice hop aroma, with just some roasted malt and yeast. Poorer body, dry with a lot of roasted malt.

very dark colour, fine head, strong hoppy nose with some coffeish notes, bitter, chocolaty finish - correct but lacking terribly of complexity

Deep brown, close to black. Large dark tan head. Musty smell of coffee, malts, some roasted hop aroma, and chocolate. Light, carbonated coffee flavor and feel. Too carbonated, with an unsmooth finish that is far too thin.

Pours a heavy black with a tall tiny bubbled head. West coast hops aroma, more of a pale ale aroma with the faintest touch of roasted barley. Pour thick feels thin. Chocolate, light coffee and vanilla flavors. Sweet juniper finish. I will not drop my nets and follow you.

Dark black color, nice creamy tan head. The aroma has some sweet notes of chocolate and lots of roast. Some toffee and caramel show through as well although a bit metallic. The flavor is more sweet & fruity than roasted but not very balanced and dirty metallic tasting. Finishes very metallic like sucking on a penny, seems too dry maybe. Just looking at the picture on the front makes me think about how dirty this beer could be.

Head is initially average sized, fizzy, brown, fully diminishing. Body is dark brown to black. Aroma lightly malty (caramel, chocolate), lightly hoppy (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.

Perfumed aroma. Completely black, bad head retention. Burned coffee aromas, which are comepletely overwhelmed by flowery hops. I am not too thrilled about the balance. Medium body and a aftertaste which slowly turns into something soapy and nauseating.
