Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of berries and fruit, and so is the flavor, though combined with light notes of alcohol and cocoa. The finish is dry. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottle 35, 5 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Clear, warm, dark brown with a reddish hue and a small, beige head. Lightly sweetish aroma of malt and fruit. Medium body with fruity touches and lightly burned, chocolatey malt accents. Perhaps a little marzipan also. Rather discreet bitterness in the finish. 171107

Dark brown color. A beer with a lot of caramel, quite a lot of dark chocolate too, some sweetness, and correct bitterness. Not bad, but a bit monodimensional.

22oz bottle shared courtesy of weeare138 (Mike finally got rid of this on us!). Poured a dark brownish color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of dark fruits, caramel, and roasted malts. Tastes of roasted malts, caramel and light citrus.

Bottle... An Imperial Brown Ale is my first thought. Pours very dark with a small, lasting, beige head. Translucent ruby when held up to bright light. The nose is malty with notes of roasted nuts, light smoke, mild molasses, wood, Russian black bread and floral hops. The flavor pretty much matches the aroma. Full-bodied and very creamy with medium carbonation. Moderately bitter, grassy finish.
