Bottle. Sweet and malty aroma of cherries. Flavor was sweet and up front. Got MUCH better as it warmed, and some coffee, chocolate and cherry flavors surfaced. This aged very well for an 04.

Bomber bonused to me a little ways back, and I cannot recall from who, so I thank ye, for this bottle, shared with dalekliz. Pours brown with a tan ring. Nose is sweet and some what sweet and berry berry quite conberry. Taste is sweet, syrupy, and not so good, oh well, try again, Jon.

0.66 l bottle (vintage 2004) at Akkurat, Stockholm. Dark reddish brown color with small head. Sweetish, roasty, berryish and vinous aroma with licorice, prunes and raisins. Soft roasted malt flavor with coffee, chocolate, licorice, toffee, prunes and raisins. Sweet chewy palate, not very drinkable.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of berries and fruit, and so is the flavor, though combined with light notes of alcohol and cocoa. The finish is dry. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle courtesy of CigarCityBrew. This beer aged very welll. Pours a dark ruby with a brownish head.Aroma reminds me of a porter, lightly smokey/roasted, chocolate / toffee malt. Taste is thick and sugary, very sweet, filled with nice flavors. Alcohol was noticable. Highly enjoyable and drinkable.

My bottle (22oz) shared with HogTownHarry, tupalev & garthicus -- courtesy of gunhaver. Pours a very deep ruby with a small diminishing frothy beige head. Nice aroma (7+) of toasted caramel malt, brown sugar, dark fruit and some mild grassy hops. Flavour of dark fruit, some nuts, lightly roasted malt and a light bitter finish. Quite fruity and sweet. Average bodied. Better then I expected, I liked it.
