Bottle, blackish/brown opaque in color, complex flavors, thick mouth feel, but enjoyable. As it was quoted to be almost like a porter but not quite a stout.

22oz bottle: Pretty good head, tan, foamy, diminishing, a little lacing. Beer is an inky black color, slightly brown, but completely opaque. Very strong aroma, a little complex. Strong malt at first, but then a hint of some floral hops. Overall strong coffee, stouty aroma. Inhaling deeply: some alcohol & hoppy aroma. Stouty alcoholy taste, strong alcohol. Strong rubbing alcohol breath after drinking. Letting warm up a little more....stilt stouty, still alcoholy.

Very dark pour with just hints of red. Aroma is sweeter than expected with some odd chocolate notes. Flavor is chocolate with some hops in the finish. Interesting brew, but nothing crazy or mindblowing. Odd yet boring.

Pours dark brown with a large head. Fair lacing. Aroma of brown sugar, dark molasses, soy sauce, butterscotch and earth.Theres also a distinct bitterness that clashes with everything. The difference between complex and messy has been crossed here, leaving a possibly good beer in the dust.

licorice, chocolate, cherries, i didn’t think it would look this dark. fine chocolaty head. slightly oily but light of weight across tongue. I taste chocolate, chalk, coffee, prunes. hops come out a little at the end, otherwise dry finish

Certainly a rather robust beer. Has a thick mouthfeel with unquestionable alcohol with prominent hops and rich malts. A good slow sipper.

bomber. Wow! Great impression so far. Dark. Thick , malty mouthfeel w/ a nice very mild burn in the linger, It’s nice :) I’d buy this a lot if it were here. Almost stouty, if the taste but near a belgian in the burn. NICE!

(bottle) nearly black, generous tan head. Surprisingly little aroma - dark fruits in what there is. Flavor is roasted malt, dark fruits. Very full bodied and well balanced.
