Bottled. Poured ruby/amber with a light brown head. Aroma was weak grapefruit hops. Tasted similar to GD Titan, but more balanced and alcoholic. Alcohol was noticeable. Floral hops and a bitter finish in the flavor.

The beer after its release from the 22-ounce bottle sets in the glass a deep mahogany color with strong ruby highlights portly light tan creamy head that slowly dissipates leaving a thick coating of lace to conceal the glass the glass. Nose is lightly toasted grain, sweet malt, caramel and the flowery hops peek through; start is nicely malted, somewhat sweet with the top moderate in its feel. Finish is sternly acidic with the hops monumentally spicy, quite dry aftertaste that last a long time on the taste buds.

bomber. pours a very dark brown, almost black with little head. aromas are lacking, just an average malty aroma. the hops really come through in the finish.... which is what saves this beer. Very nice chewy and full bodied finish. Nice on the palate with a medium body and active carbonation. There is a slight alcohol bite as well. Overall, a very good offering.... although I don’t think I would buy it again with so many better options.

Autumn Brew Review ’07
Nose is licorice, some toffee, and molasses. Thinner flavored than some in this category. Flavors come out more as this warms. Decent.

Had this moster brew from a bomber while grilling out last night. Nose of berries & coffee, licorice, toffe, caramel, and flowers. Pours a dark brown. The tall fully lasting cola head morphs to tan in a few short minutes. The head is very creamy and stiff and leaves sticky sheets and rings of lace. The front is dark chocolate, roasted coffee with a moderate acidity and alcoholic warmth in the middle. The roasted and bittersweet attention grabbing finish is fruity and floral as well. The full body is soft and chewy. The finish feels slightly alcoholic.

Deep reddish colour with a tan head. Malty, fruity aroma with a light roasted and bready note. Light roasted and fruity flavor balanced with a hoppy fruityness.

Thanks to egajdzis for breaking this open... Appears a dark brown with caramel edges. Two finger head fades into a mild cap & collar. Scattered lace is left around the glass. Smell is of oatmeal, cocoa, caramel, dark fruit, sourdough, and anise. This was a pleasant surprise in the aroma. Well done. Taste is of the aromas with some roasted grain pulling through in a yeasty, sugary flavor. Mouthfeel is full bodied, caramel laden, slightly hot with mild esters pulling through with a yeasty punch.
