OlMalteserHead (21), Glasgow, Scotland Dec 20, 2006 From the Three Judges, on Cask. It’s a cider, it smelled of apples, but also rose petals as well. For want of a better phrase, the cider was "cider orange" in colour, bit cloudy to boot. The alcohol was well hidden by the spicy apples. GarethYoung (1108), Glasgow, Scotland Dec 20, 2006 [On tap at The Three Judges] Ripe apples, spicey, earthy, complex. juicy palate with some earthy farmhouse character, dry, well concealed alcohol. Rich cidery start with creamy pastry - I’ve found this in other Kingston Black single varietals and it is not always to my taste but worked fairly well here. Dry but a little acidity, smooth and well balanced. A nice cider on occasion but I couldnt see myself drinking something like this as often as the dryer more austere ciders. Clear golden coloured and sweet on the palate. Some chemical taste in the finish.

Slightly fruity aroma. Golden coloured and slightly hazy. Some alcohol in a sweet finish. leaparsons (4000), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Feb 4, 2005 A rare incursion to the cider section of Burton Winter Fest. Very yellow and gold. Aromas are earthy apply juice with some acidicy. Flavours are soft apple juice with some earthy agricultural qualities. Dry and woody with hints of fruity sourness. Can’t really taste the alcohol. Simple and effective.
