Heidrun California Avocado Blossom Mead | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Commercial Description: "What's this?! You can't make wine from Avocados!!" We get that all the time, so let's set the record straight. This is mead made from the nectar of the blossom of the Avocado tree. No actual Avocados were used in the production of this varietal. Avocado honey is simply the byproduct of the honeybees' pollination process, a process that ensures many bowls of guacamole in our future! We had no idea our California Avocado Blossom mead would be so popular but, as it turns out, we stumbled upon a beer-lover's favorite. Could be the buttery nutty flavors that are reminiscent of a certain American ESB, or it could be the refreshing, light bitterness that suggests a European Pilsner. This is the sophisticate's ballgame beverage.
