Commercial Description:
There ought to be tremendous cache in any mead made from honey harvested in Napa Valley, the cradle of the American grapewine industry. And perhaps if there were fewer vineyards and more native meadows, Napa Valley honey would be more abundant and available to us! This varietal has pear notes and a warm beeswax aroma that's not quite woody, not quite smoky. Less effervescence makes this a more reserved bubbly. Modest residual sugar increases the mead's body and smooths its finish. Food Pairing: Roasted or grilled fowl, especially when seasoned with warm herbs like Rosemary or Sage.

From the linkery. Clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Sweet honey aroma and taste with some orange notes.
