Jun 8, 2005 Poured from can at a cubs game. For a light beer, I liked this one. Actually had some malty flavors, though little/no hops there. A little dusty, but still refreshing. Deeper yellow than most pales. A little meaty and fruity. Not bad, drinkable.

Sep 18, 2004 Thin yellow coloring with mucho carbonation... and that’s all it delivers. Watered down, throat scratching, tasteless liquid garbage. You can buy it cheap around here... and you get what you pay for.

Aug 30, 2004 CAVEAT - Sampled on a hot night in Wrigley Field. Still, this isn’t much of anything. As bland as Old Style is, it was immediately obvious to me that my buddy had bought the light. Yellowy carbonated water - check that, it doesn’t have the chlorine taste of Downtown Chicago’s water. So, it’s better than water, just not worth drinking.

Aug 19, 2004 Light straw color with a two finger head of soft peak egg white bubbles. Grassy hops dominate the aroma with a slight hint of malt.A touch of ruity candy as well. Rather dry start with a quite a bit of tight carbonation. Light sweetness hits mid gulp. Light grain and malt linger. Not bad as far as light beers go.
