The best way to describe the aroma is to say it smells exactly the way and American light beer should smell. Not as bad as other lite beers out there. Grains and malts mainly in the flavor. Kind of a fizzy mouth feel to it. I wouldn't buy it again, but if it were avaliable for free, I would have another one. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/20 | Dec 24, 2003 This brew from a can poured a small head of finely sized white colored mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent straw yellow colored body and a poor lace. The aroma is non-existant and the mouthfeel is slightly bubbly and thin. The flavor is that of very mild hops with a tad of malt thrown in. Not much to it is there? dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 13, 2003 Wow, I forgot to rate this one, I can't believe it. This stuff is better than the original in my opinion. I'm not really saying this stuff is great by any means but it is definitely drinkable. Doesn't taste like much of anything just a lightly carbonated, refreshing beverage. Good beer for fishing trips or great after mowing the lawn. Falconseye8 (525), Cartersville, Georgia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 30, 2003 This is one exception where I really enjoy the original version vs. the light. I can't believe this beer has slipped as far as it has. If anyone in my neck of the woods knows where I can find Old Style please drop me a email. Those of you who haven't tried it you'll be suprised. This brand dominated Chicago for years. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jun 9, 2003 I can't believe they still make this stuff.i found some of this in a liqour store i rarely go into but managed to talk the manager out of just one beer,if i mentioned the store Falls liquor. The color was a good golden ,with a decent macro malt, mild hop aroma.nearly no head unless i hold the pour 2 stories high. The flavor was weak mild malt with an even milder hop taste.I don't no if i could distinguish thi s over water,it's that weak.I'm glad i made a deal for only one of these.
