On a personal note, every time I visit Chicago I ingest more of this than I do anything else--food, water, other beer, and md 20/20 combined. I am a fan of La Crosse Lager which uses the original recipe and am delighted that I can get the fan cans in MN now. It’s a stock lager that I’ve drank in cans, silos, bottle, pints on tap, and many pitchers too. Not to forget the many times in the Wrigley bleachers. It’s basically a stock lager but I never get a hangover from it. Pours gold and tastes better than other macros. The finish is smooth and these are not filling. It’s hard to recount all the times I pre-partied with a 6 pack of tall boys. This should be on tap at more places in MN. My favorite macro lager if for nothing but nostalgia. Color is a bright clear gold with good carbonation and a thin head. Taste is light and clean. Starting with a light body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish comes on with a light malt flavor and backed by a faint bitterness. badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

I would not drink this swill if I was drunk. Who in the f-ck drinks this garbage. Surprisingly falvorful for a macro lager, somewhat sweet with no discernible hops. Straw in color, small white head which disappeared quickly. Earns points for not becoming undrinkable as it warms. coopermrkn (26), Minnesota, USA

Very crisp taste and is foamy enough for me. It is hard for me to pick a favorite between Pabst Blue Ribbon and Old Style. Plus it is made by Pabst, perfect! Another cheap beer that kicks the expensive beers in the butt. You just can’t go wrong. hombrepalo (780), Chicago, Illinois, USA
