Found in bottles at Chicago’s only bocce bar (I think it was called Cody’s Pub) on the North Side. Typical corn/grain essence that’s dry and flavorless. Fizzy and golden. grimreeser (797), Minnesota, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 14, 2006 On tap. Slight grain aroma. I had another beer before this one, so this tasted like water. Absolutely no taste, but that is better than a horrible taste. TechMyst (166), Fox River Grove, Illinois, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jul 25, 2006 12 oz bottle. Sharp aftertaste. Light body . . . well let’s say it really; it is the typical pale, tasteless drink that all American mega-breweries produce. And we’ve all just gone along. Like "Sheep" in Floyd’s ’Animals’ release. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 20, 2006 On tap 7/14 @ Wrigley Field: Pours yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is grainy and stale. Flavor is corn with a sour sweetness. Thin watery body but much better to me than Bud or Coors. This is my beer of choice @ Wrigley Field and washes the Chicago Style hot dogs down very well. The atmosphere and tradition makes this a very enjoyable and refreshing ! Go Cubs in 2007! ilikestuff (222), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 17, 2006 If you’re a Cubs fan or a redneck, this is the brew for you. Good alternative to Bud or Coors Original, maltier flavor. Good choice if you’re at Wrigley watching the Cubs lose. KAggie97 (2464), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 14, 2006 Bottle at Around The Corner, Chicago, IL. Nice Cubs label on the bottle. Pours thin and cloudy with little head and lacing. Aroma is corn and soured malt. Flavor is soured floral hops and fading malt. Palate is thin and flat. It’s old man beer; you wanted perfection??? Get over yourself, ya damn beer snob. Fonix7 (50), Toledo, Ohio, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Jun 30, 2006 The Chicago cheap beer. Smells like piss, tastes worse. Must be born and bred in Chi-town to love a beer like this. holdenn (1443), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jun 26, 2006 i love good beers this is certainly not one of them. however i do believe this beer takes on sort of a magical form during cubs games, (maybe its a historical connection to the cubs) that makes it so much more enjoyable.
best enjoyed in a tall boy on the el or in the alley on the way to a cubs game.
