Aug 9, 2004 I had this beer while my band toured Wisconsin. We stayed with some friends called the Buffalo Joe Band. We went to the rhtyhm guitars recording studio (which he dubbed "THE GARAGE MAHAL), and this is what he had to drink----a whole freakin’ fridge full of it. I guess is was their equivilant of Milwaukee’s Best (which, ironically I didn’t see anywhere up there). It wasn’t quite as bad as the Beast. It was actually sort of refreshing. After 10 or so, who cares anyway!!
I guess my rating is tainted by the fact that I had such a good time while drinking this beer (after all, that’s what beer drinking is all about!!).

Aug 4, 2004 Had at the Grand Ely Lodge in Ely, Minnesota. Light golden appearance, fresh lake water aroma. Light white head, little to no lacing. Has a good, clean flavor without the adjuncts. Nothing wrong with this beer for the price.

Aug 2, 2004 Not exactly a beer snobs beer but it has a great taste from a can. A tad to be desired from a bottle but you can get a 30 pack for 10 or so dollars so the price is right.

Jul 20, 2004 First time to see this beer....hopefully the last...was praying to see the ever hopefull RETIRED sign on this beer...sadly there are still ignorant amongst us that continue to buy this beer!! Smooth.....if you have no use of your senses, you’re still not missing anything...

Jun 23, 2004 Sampled on draught at a Cubs’ game. Bland lager aroma. Very lively carbonation. Thin white head. Decent lace. Decent bite for a lager. Drinkable, especially at a Cubs game. Smooth, but would I really want to drink more of these? No.

Jun 22, 2004 Updated: Sep 3, 2004My first rating of a beer from a can. A few nights out with friends including a visit to Miller park have opened my eyes. I now enjoy swill in the right environment. Sure, the rating will be low, but that won't stop a good time. Clear pale yellow with a medium diminishing white head. Aroma of cereal, cardboard, light bread, and a hint of spice. Light watery body, fizzy carbonation. Weak flavor of cereal, bread, pepper, honey and cardboard. Pretty flavorless, nothing much going on here.

Jun 20, 2004 (bottle) This beer is pretty good given the style it was born into.....smooth, crisp, etc....not too skunky....I would grab this over most other BMCs any day of the week.
