Pours deep clear amber with a small, creamy white head. Aroma is sweet, lots of caramel, brown sugar. Low carbonation, fat oily mouthfeel. Flavour is extremely sweet, caramel, sugar. Sh** that is sweet and sticky.

Sep 28, 2009 The bottle looks good, beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Starts malty and dry, also a bit alcoholic, notes of plum. Becomes weeker in the end, finish almost washy. Aftertaste a bit malty. Disappointing!

Sep 11, 2009 Sweet and meaty. Just a little too sweet because there’s no counterweight in flavor. Palate is ok. There are tons of better bocks but for a Heineken this one’s ok.

Clear medium amber orange color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081115]
