Heineken

Dutch beer can be good, but this does not cut the mustard. Nothing good to say really, taste is uninspiring. It is beer though! Thats a positive.

Yeah okay. certainly a palatable brew, but didn’t ignite any excitement.

Pours a pale yellow with a fairly decent white head. Mild aroma of hops and wet bread. Taste is sweet pale malt and a touch of hop bitterness. Overall not bad tasting, but muted and watery. Those who remark that it smells skunky or like dirty socks should try to purchase it fresh, rather than stale and light struck from sitting on a shelf for months. Were this brewed in the USA, it would be considered an above average macro.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a yellow color with a small white head. Aroma of skunky, malt and perhaps grass. A little sweeter than most American macro pale lagers. Overally, pretty lousy.

Nothing to write home about. On par with the American lagers. I can’t stomach this stuff unless it comes from the brown bottles available in the Netherlands. But, as some of my co-workers say, "brown bottle Heineken is the best beer, hands down." Ummm...No not even close.
