Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 6, 2002 A light yellow beer wiht no head. It has a faint aroma of malt. And a watery flavor that end in a slight bitterness. I much rather have a Tuborg - if it must be a lager. omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 25, 2002 Golden coloured. Sweet, rather malty, extremely one dimensional. Not exactly my drink of choice, but I don’t mind drinking one if lacking better beers Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 27, 2005 Updated: Aug 3, 2005(Bottle 33 cl) Swedish version brewed by Spendrup’s Brewery. Full golden colour, limited head. Hoppy nose, mild and harmonious yet not very exciting. 081203
(Bottle 33 cl) Thai version brewed by Thai Asia Pacific brewery. Nice hoppy nose. Quite harmonic and balanced lager. But lacks personality. 5/2/5/2/10=2,4 191103
(Bottle 50 cl) Greek version. Pale golden with a small, white head. Fine, flowery, hoppy nose. Malty and just enough hops to add balance. Very uncharacteristic and anonymous - but easily drinkable. 5/3/5/2/10=2,5 110999
Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Nov 25, 2000 Updated: Dec 12, 2004Probably the first time I’ve had it since they went back to being all-malt. Well, maybe not because I had the Thai version and it seemed structured to local tastes. Anyway, here’s what I’ve got: medium gold colour, whispy head. Grassy aroma with faint fusel alcohol. More high alcohol notes, very light malts, equally light hops. Off-dry finish. I was actually expecting better, but the burn of the higher alcohols is a very Thai characteristic and really sucks. yespr (6373), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 5, 2007 33 cL can. Pours pale yellow with white head. Aroma is distinct straw and bitter hops. Taste is a again dominated bit bitter hops, but this is only there for the start and doesn’t go into the finish. The bitterness is rather odd somehow. has some wellrounded sweetness into the finish.
