| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 20, 2008 This beer poured a dark copper color with generous white head that lasted for a while. The aroma of the beer is very malty. The taste is also malty, with light hops, sweetness, and a bit of spice. The mouthfeel is good though maybe a little on the thin side. Drinkability is high.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 4, 2008 Pours a clear golden amber with a small bubbly head that dissipates immediately leaving no head and no lacing at all. Smell of light, sweet malts with a faint hop presence. There are definitely some fruity smells going on in there as well. Honestly, it smelled a little like watered down apple juice. Much like the smell, it’s mostly very light, sweet malts and light hops. Also some fruity sweetness along with some candy sweetness, maybe caramel. Very light, crisp mouthfeel that doesn’t really leave anything on the palate to speak of. This is a decent enough beer, but I’m not extremely impressed with this offering. Hopefully, some of the other Heiner brews are more drinkable. FishManLA (297), Abita Springs, Louisiana, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Oct 27, 2007 What can I say, but that I really didn’t enjoy this beer at all. When I saw it on the shelf, I was really excited to try it out, but I was really disappointed while drinking it. The beer had a very strange taste and was really flat. I had to force myself to drink it all. I really hope this local brewery succeeds, but I haven’t been too impressed by their beers so far. Maybe it was just a bad batch? I’ll try it again and see if anything changes.
