Sweet creamed corn aroma. Clear pale blonde with thin white head that diminishes to ring. Sweet, lightly grainy flavour with extremely gentle bitterness in the finish. Watery texture with light carbonation and body. A bit sticky in the throat. Bland. Bottle (Provigo - Feb. 2005).

Horrible smell and taste by one of Sleeman’s Quebec buyouts. Hopefully not an ominous sign of what they will do to Unibroue, Heaven forbid. Skunky and negative taste. Pale yellow colour. A joke addition to the 50 or so at Doug Shoemaker’s Grand tasting.

Pale gold with average for such beer white head . Celery like aroma, with some corn and past its prime lager hops. Thin and plain. I looked for a while to find faint hop accents . Forgettable.

Sightly sweet funky aroma. Pale yellow body. Flavour is mostly just watery with some unpleasant undertones.

#4 in the evening’s swill quintet. Smells like a dead, rotting skunk. I couldn’t even finish a 1 oz. sample. Nice to know that Quebec has something to rival Steelback in the shitty beer dept. [Toronto Christmas Party ’04]

Clear "Sleeman" bottle. This is skunktabulous!!! A hideous little beer. No person should be subject to this. After so many nice beers at Senor Shoemaker’s house the Canadian’s decide it is swill time. This is obviously a Canadian custom such as Ketchup chips and Poteen. This is beer number three of swill time. It is just as foul as the first two. It does make me rejoice that there is a full fridge of magnificent beers left.

Bottle-Pours the faintest yellow with a whisk of white fizz. Grainy corn aroma. Flavours follow the aroma and give way to sweet vegetable juice. A touch of tin in the finish. Not much to speak of here.

Boring gold color with high carbonation and a fair white bubbly head. Weak malty aroma with corny and bready notes. Taste is watery and carries some malty and metallic hints. Finish leaves a carbonated water-like feeling. Useless...
