Commercial Description:
HELLEKAPELLE from Brouwerij de Bie is an unusual pale ale with a straw color, hoppy aroma, light to medium body and clean malty flavor. It's bitterness that starts in the middle of the palate and dominates through to the finish comes from Poperinge hops, wonderful thirst quencher.

Bottle conditioned, pours a fizzy lasting white head with a light golden body. Fruity and hoppy nose, but the body is a bit too thin. All in all a quite pleasant beer even if the aftertaste had some metallic feeling in it.

Bottle at L’Atelier in Brussels. Pale blonde with thin white head. Zesty nose with sharp lemon and passion fruit notes... interesting. Flavor is very lightly sweet, mildly bitter, with slightly tart tang and lively carbonation. Very refreshing, great summer beer.

Bottle @ Plan-B, Copenhagen. BB 06/06. Pours hazy golden with nearly no head or lacings. Aroma is vinous, white wine, fruity & slightly dusty. Mouldy, cellar & citric taste. Def. over the top!
