12oz bottle pours amber with a short offwhite head. Aromas of caramel and toasted malts. Flavor is sweet, notes of caramel, a touch of brown sugar, some toasted malts as well. Some brief hops on the finish which is somewhat dry. Medium bodied and not overly carbonated. Not bad.

Thanks to Darkover for the hookup. Pours clear amber-brown with a medium light beige head that lasts pretty well. Aroma of caramel and earthy hops. Medium body with grassy hops flavor and some malt flavoring. The finish is hoppy and the bitterness lingers awhile. Overall this is kind of a one-note beer but it’s okay.

An opaque, frosty copper with a slight, off-white head. Packaging appeals to the collector in me. I thought this would be a simple "lawnmower beer" but was pleasantly surprised by well-malted aromas of caramel & toasted grains which carried through perfectly to the flavor. It was on the sweet side but had a good balance. Mid-bodied and a bit dry & dirty to finish.

Somewhat stale fruity and caramel aroma - actually dead on for an English ale imported to the US. Clear amber color, very little head. Very mild flavor, a little caramel, a little fruitiness, very slight hop flavor, pretty well balanced overall. Medium body with low carbonation. Really not a bad ordinary bitter - subtle but balanced flavors, all appropriate for the style.

Decent caramel taste, nice gimmick bottle, easy to drink, I won’t collect all 24, but I won’t turn one away.

pours a plae amber in color with a small off-white head, aromas of malt and citrus, the taste is mostly malty and sweet with a small presence of caramel, not bad, but nothing to great.

Bottle: Aroma has a strong grassy presence with some floral hops and a touch of caramel. Pours a transparent amber with a small white head that quickly becomes a ring. Sweet up front with some caramel. Finishes with a roastiness and light floral hoppiness. Hops are rather weak because they disappear quickly leaving a sweet and roasty aftertaste. Very easy smooth and easy drinking, but a little boring.
