scooter_bub (192), Lander, Wyoming, USA Jun 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark red-brown with a thin tan head. The taste and aroma are of caramel, roasted malts and is kind of smokey. One of my more favorite beers as it is very easy to drink and is rather inexpensive in my area.
stchloe (197), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 7, 2008 Now I am just shocked this is made by Full Sail. Otherwise a copy of Blue Boar. Angeloregon (2002), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 31, 2008 Bottle from Fred Meyer in Portland, OR--Poured a brown-amber body with a dissipating white head. Thin, watery pour. Decent carbonation. Mildly roasty, nutty, maltiness with a minimal hop bite. Sessionable, boring, but highly drinkable. Hophead22 (252), Redlands, California, USA Aug 7, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured a real nice dark ruby color, short lasting off white head. Dark roasted aroma, slight hint of coffee as well. Smooth drinker, again alot of roastiness in there. Pretty good. BlackDonald (1039), North Carolina, USA May 31, 2008 Not really too much to this one, although it does have a strange drinkability. There is nothing that puts me off about it, other than it is just quite simple. Kind of a caramel maltiness, but not a lot of dark beer qualities, finishes with a hint of nuttiness, and bitterness.
