Commercial Description:
A light-bodied, full-flavored unfiltered beer brewed in the tradition of European wheat beers. Wheat malt, the finest barley and Roasted Caramel malts are combined with Pacific Northwest Cascade hops and a touch of pure honey for a wheat beer with a smooth, crisp finish.

Cloudy dark yellow with a small white head. Smells hoppy like a domestic. Taste hops and maybe some citrus, grapefruit. Taste to much like a domestic. Good summer beer though.

Bottle. Poured very hazy yellow with thin lasting white head. Aroma of cloves and warm rubber. Thin flat wheaty flavour, with a couple spicy notes. Flat finish. Somewhat under commonplace.

Poured a well-carbonated hazy medium gold colour, and a generous head which left some nice lacing. Aroma was not as expected, being slightly floral. Taste was clean but slightly bitter, not as I’d come to expect from a wheat beer; almost as if the honey was left out of this bottle. However, the aftertaste did sweeten up a tiny bit but still, this is no hefeweizen in the traditional sense.

12oz bottle from a mix case. It’s light and wheaty with no clove lemon or banana. These American weizen beers make me sad, this style can be great if well done.

The only hefe I’ve had that’s even worse than Widmer. One Valentine’s Day I drank this beer and it made me immediately throw up. Of course I blame this beer and not the rather large number of shots I had earlier that night!

It’s cheap, light, refreshing, and good for a summer BBQ. Not worthy of a lemon, though. Henry’s is always a great alternative to standard domestic beers. Brewed by Full Sail? I had no idea. Critics--what did you expect out of a $5 six pack of Hefeweizen?

16oz draft. Pours a lightly cloudy golden yellow with a creamy looking white head. Nose is very faint in the aroma department, but I pick up wheat, grass, banana and clove. Carbonation is decent, but body is pretty thin and doesn’t have much wheatiness to it. Notes of banana and clove are also present on the palate. Drinkable in a pinch but nothing noteworthy.
