Typical orange colour of an IPA with a nice enough looking slightly off-white head.
Aroma is certainlly hoppy but really doesnt grab your attention, there is in fact a little unpleasantness underneath, but i had tio strain to catch it..so OK.
Flavour is quite OK the hopping isnt too agressive and there is a nice enough complmentary semi-sweet maltiness, in deed the hops coat the tongue near the end, not bad.
I liked the palate on this beer, not really watery but easy to drink, nice lingering hoppy after taste.
Not bad at all at this price range ( under $10 a 12 pack). I am rather enjoying it.
A good lighter IPA for the hotter months ( its is a Spring/Summer release).
Overall excellent value for money.
cblado (78), Wisconsin, USA Aug 17, 2008 12 oz bottle. Very little aroma, some hops and malt. I was very pleasantly surprised by the strong hop flavor of this brew, however. Some citrus notes, with a crisp finish. A very drinkable IPA. Beer_2000 (1179), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 7, 2008 355 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a white head. Weak hoppy aroma with a hint of citrus. Flavor is balanced and nice, but not particular hoppy. Imagine a traditionally British IPA hop level, but with American hops. cheapdark (1554), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 26, 2008 Clear, pale yellow and fizzy with a 2 inch head. Rolling continuous carbonation within. Looks very attractive for a pale yellow brew. Dirty hop aroma. Medium hop bite, much less than I expected for an IPA. Perhaps this more like a strong APA instead of an IPA. Possibly a good intro IPA for a lager lover. However, finish is sufficiently lingering and bitter annoying to be an IPA. ABUSEDGOAT (1900), California, USA Jul 7, 2008 Amber colored. Aroma is light butteryness with some citric hops. Medium to light bodied, moderate to low bitterness. Pretty bland. Bier brauen (139), Bremerton, Washington, USA Jul 5, 2008 The best thing this beer has going for it is it’s appearance. It’s a nice clear golden color. The head leaves some lacing down the side of the glass. Other than that, I’d rather have a MOR lawmower lager thirst quencher. With today’s heightened beer prices, I had to give it a try.
