Commercial Description:
Generally available fitered in bottle.
Formerly sold as Beer Station Cool Blonde.
Blonde is a totally organic lager: just pure blonde beer from organically produced malt - no additives; no preservatives. The organically grown "Hallertau" hops deliver a floral note to the brew, and the purity of the flavour is protected by meticulous cold filtration. This is a long, powerful brew with a firm body and a luxuriant head.

An attractive 660ml clear glass bottle. Aroma has that peaty quality that Wychwood beers have. Flavour has a little plastic twang. Sharp carbonation. Doesn’t come over as fresh or fragrant in the way I appreciate blonde beers.

On tap at the Anchor, Birmingham as part of their organic beer weekend. Nice Lager, with peaty notes (or perhaps that was my mind getting too far into the organic spirit). Plenty of flavour, but low on fizz, with no head. A slow building taste. Crisp, refreshing.
