Commercial Description:
Available cold filtered in 500ml bottles. Occasionally available in the cask.
"Iron Horse is a strong pale ale hand crafted at the beer station from a complex grist of roasted malts and English hops. This gives a full flavour with a traditional Sussex hoppy nose to the beer."

Cask @ Market Porter, Borough SE1. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma with some hints of caramel. Fruity malty hoppy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish.

From bottle. Sweet smooth aroma. Clear golden colour with a thin white head that clings to the glass. Sweet pale ale. Slight bitterness with tangy citrus. A little dull in the scheme of things. Doesn’t show off but is a reasonable pale.

A bit metallic but nicely enough done bitter with some strange hop notes that didn’t sit well with me.

Bottled, 500ml, filtered. Darkish amber with white head. This was quite a fruity beer on a slightly heavy malt. There is something akin to malt bread about the background, raisins and yeast, with just a touch of hop coming in late. There was a slightly sour tang as I got through the glass, but nothing off putting. On the whole it was fine, just a couple of things holding it back.
