Feb 28, 2005 Updated: Mar 7, 2005A dark amber beer with a fine white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel and grass. The flavor is sweet and very hoppy - but not my type of hop. The flavor also contains notes of caramel.

Dec 30, 2004 Bottle. A bit dull. Some dry grainy malt, with some rusty, green hops. Surprisingly void of flavour in the middle of the tongue. Not much happening.

Sep 16, 2004 Bottled. Amber, bright and clean. This beer had exceptional balance. The malts and hops worked perfectly together. Smooth malts come across first but are supported well by a good solid bitter structure. The length on the palate is fantastic.

Mar 19, 2004 Bottle. Copper color, thin frothy head. Hoppy, butterscotch and a hint of licorice, some caramel and cake dough. Medium bodied. Long hopbitter afteratste. Quality ale.
