Commercial Description:
Strong and rich. This "double-strength" dark beer is heavily hopped with a bitter-sweet finish... the reason some say "It'll knock your socks off." It appears occasionally on the Brewer's List here at H & H.

Draught sample at the brewpub, late July 2006. Deep chestnut color with a lasting creamy head....earthy, caramel-tinged aroma with light baking spices and a hint of berry throughout.....the body is luscious, 3 Musketeers-type nougat, caramel and vanilla and thick milk chocolate, alcohol showing up around midpalate, sweetness growing towards the finish and just moderated enough by a bit of woody, twiggy dryness....low carbonation, truly fine and stylish.

Sampled this beer at the Great Taste of the Midwest in Madison WI. Even though my scores on this are accurate and well researched, ?Da Man? wants me to say more about the beer, so I will. A small brewery located out of my hometown that makes average beers at best. Then again people in Wausau drink Bud on a regular basis, so this probably taste like mead to the gods.

Big malt nose and aroma. Sweet but smooth with alcohol balance. Hop character lost in maltiness. Lingering dry finish.

The ’Rejuvenator’ boasts 9% ABV, at least in the memory of the barmaid, but it comes on very, very gently, with a mild, maibocky flavour to it’s pale, redgold body. It’s the best H+H brew I tried in a recent visit to Escanaba, but nowhere near the grand Dopples of RateBeer legend.
