heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA May 6, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. The body was hazy dark amber gold. There was a strong grapefruit nose. There was also some almonds and toast. The taste was muted grapefruit with some grassy woody notes. There was some ncie citrus to complement the medium mouthfeel. Good stuff. DragonsHead (137), Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 10, 2008 This is exactly what I expect from an IPA. Nothing over the top, but still good. Very traditional. The hop aroma was very good, a bit light for my taste, but still very good. Great finish. My usuall beer at this location. Naka (524), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 5, 2008 Draft sample at Cranberry location. Pours a relatively light golden amber with a small white head. Some big floral and citrus hops in the nose. It has a great dank citrus flavor with a little bit of pine. Finishes with a more earthy hop flavor. Nice, not over the top. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 28, 2007 12/27/07 - Winter Road Trip ’07 - Draft sample at brewpub. Gold w/ red hues, white head with decent lacing. Floral hop nose. Floral and piney taste throughout, pretty average, but good. Run of the mill IPA. Tasty to me! Very dry finish with moderate bitterness Nate (2533), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 28, 2007 On tap. Mild grassy hops, fresh, with a bit of orange rind and spice. Golden amber clear with thin white head. Medoum body with medum carbonation. Starts with mild malty sweetness, dry acidity and flavorful grassy hops. Quickly turns to bitter in the finish, with dry bitter after. Run of the mill IPA. CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA Nov 18, 2007 On tap at the Wausau brewpub on 6/24/07: Transparent copper orange pour has a thin covering of wispy white head. Aroma of lightly sweet caramel malt and big fresh piny hoppy presence. Body starts fairly full with a nice light caramel sweetness and good piny citrusy hop balance toward a drier bittersweet finish. A nice IPA. cheapdark (2011), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 13, 2007 On tap at the Trivia Pub. Ubiquitous color, looks like a pale american lager. Barely any carbonation, just a trace. Very little initial aroma but that builds to a slight floral hop towards the end of the session. Perhaps a little less annoying than many IPAs. Taste is all IPA, bitter medicinal and nearly offensive....and that carries over to the finish, which lingers. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 06/24/2007
