Nov 2, 2008 On draught at the Wausau, WI brewpub location. Pours an opaque very dark brown (nearly black) brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind some excellent lacing. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, some toasted dark malt, and a hint of floral hops. Taste is smooth and creamy with flavors of coffee, dark chocolate some toasted dark chocolate malt. Finish has a more chocolate after taste than the Hereford & Hops Java King version.
