Hereford & Hops German Weiss

On draught at the Hereford & Hops Wausau location. Pours a semi hazy golden pale amber brew with a creamy white head that has some excellent retention and thick lacing. Aroma of slightly roasted golden grain malt with wheat, some fruity character of tropical fruits and banana with a touch of salt. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of golden multi-grain malt, bananas, a touch of pear and a hint of vanilla. Finish is semi-sweet at first and then a crisp finish. A little more fruity compared to most other hefe’s I’ve tried but very enjoyable.
