Pale straw, brief white head. Dusty hops aroma. Plain light bready and weetabix taste. Hops not very sophisticated, clearly extract not whole hops. OK carbonation, but thin and disappointing, even on a hot day.

golden, medium lasting head, nice grain-hopbitter balance, like a pilsener most be. SilkTork (3882), Rochester, Kent, England Aug 1, 2008 330ml bottle from Shropshire. Vintage 1990. Faint chocolate notes. Indian tea with a soft bitterness spreading out from the centre of the tongue - quite old and dusty. Good body, with a calm carbonation. Hints of toffee among the bitterness. A pleasing beer. larsga (2146), Oslo, Norway May 14, 2008 Big coarseish offwhite shiny head. Yellow body. Very little aroma. Sweetish grassy spicy taste with grainy notes. Dry chalky grassy aftertaste with lemony notes. A bit watery. Lacking in body. Charmless, boring. No obvious flaws. (0.3l draft at Hotell Gosequell, Goslar.) maeib (3959), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Dec 11, 2007 Bottled. A pale gold coloured beer with no head. The aroma is slightly sweet with minimal hop levels. The taste has some grassy hops with some sweet malts. Not bad.
