Pours a hazy golden-yellow with a spare diminishing white head, Aroma of sweet malt, maple syrup, brown sugar and fruit -- no smoke though. Flavour of sweet malt, grain, maple and light hops. Medium bodied. Pretty good but I got no smoke at all from it. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Heavy palate - sticky malts, sugary fruit, touch of smoked dark malt. Strange. beergut111 (210), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Taste was sweet(I tasted sweet more than maple) with a bitter after taste. I didnt pick up too much of a smokey taste. GregClow (2515), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Aroma of maple candy and orange juice, not much smoke. Flavour hold more maple and dark sugar, some fruitiness, and still not much smoke. I didn’t mind it, but I really hoped for a smokier character. Aroma: sweet citrus nose, orange, sweet maple. Good combination.
Appearance: hazy gold, with smallish white (pourous) head.
Green, citrussy front, short bitterness followed with sweet finish. Drinkable bitter-sweet ale. I am afraid that hops and maple totally covered smoked malts with its dominance here.

Candy/brown sugar sweet grainy aroma, a hint of burnt peat and ripe peaches or apricots. The taste is sweet malt - my brain alternated between processing it as "burnt maple syrup and woody malt" and "stewed apricots" - weird. An average paleager body, sticky and syrupy mouthfeel, very cloying but has an odd smokey/bitter aftertaste - it’s better than you’d think, but I preferred their earlier Maple Bush Lager in the big-ass bottles.
