Nov 18, 2009 Very dense & fine, light-yellow head over metallic-yellow beer. Dry-spicy, loam; lightly toasted malts, very discreet. Very dry-bitter flavour, strange vegetable bitterness, like celeriac, but less sweet. Again - loam. Well-attenuated, medium bodied, spritzy-burning at swallowing. Very special taste... but far from bad.

Oct 12, 2009 Updated: Oct 18, 2009redelijk bittere afdrong maar toch goed te drinken. de smaak van gerstemout komt komt ook mee bij de afdrong en is wel een lekkere tint.

Aug 23, 2009 Clear blond coloured beer with small white head and lots of carbonation. Spicy herby aroma (cooked vegetables). Full sparkling palate. Finish is spicy ending bitter dry.

De Herkenrode Tripel is een 7% sterk op fles hergist bier geworden.
Almost clear golden color, with good whitehead.
Aroma malts, bit yeast, fruity hops.
Medium body.
Taste sweet, malts, hops, light bitterness. A good light tripel go smoothly drinkable.
