| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 18, 2009 A light color with faint head. A malty aroma that was pleasant, despite lacking the hoppy aroma promised. The body was a bit more on par. A smooth malty body with a light bitterness and a distinct hop character (saaz???). beastiefan2k (1607), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 30, 2009 Draft @ brewpub. Pours is golden with a lightly sticky lacing. Aroma is crisp, lemon-y, with a strong herbal, German hoppiness. Right on the money I say. Its very clean and sharp. Taste is there but there is just a little hint of diacetyl but it doesn’t interfere too much with the other pils aspects. Has a good bitterness to the flavor. Very dry at the end. Just neet to get rid of that diacetyl a little more. tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 9, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Pours bright gold/yellow with no head. Lightly malty on the nose with a definite Saaz presence. Mildly hoppy and malty on the palate. A hint of bright hops on the finish was enough to give it a bit of flavor. Very drinkable pils. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 7, 2007 Light, buzzing hops as the main taste. Some weak malts come into play, but never leading. In a word: drinkable. RagallachMC (631), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 10, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Aroma: Light grainy maltiness with a nice dose of saaz hops. A noticeable sulphur note, as well. Appearance: Light golden in color and clear. White head was small and foamy with decent retention. Fair lacing. Flavor: Grainy maltiness upfront gives way to a floral hop flavor. Bitterness was just enough to cleanse the palate. Finishes crisp and clean. Palate: Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: A good, uncomplicated pils. Nice flavor and drinkable. IPAndy (120), minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 17, 2007 1st, they have to pour this in something other than a shaker. No real head builds up and it makes it look really uninteresting. The flavor is much better though, a nice bitter punch with a clean malt backbone. detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 27, 2007 This beer pours a clear light gold, topped by a slim head of white foam. The slim head that remains gives good spotty lace. Nice pilsner malt and Noble hop aroma - slight sweet, slightly tangy, and nice and spicy.
I really enjoy the flavor of this beer. A lightly grainy malt, a fantastic spicy bitterness in the hops. Light body - true to style. Crisp clean and refreshing, delightfully drinkable. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 26, 2006 Draught pint at the brewpub, early October 2006. Bubbly oily gold with just a touch of head that recedes quickly....nose is predominantly thick bready malts, modest Saaz hops, nothing too exciting though pleasant and full enough....body is very full, solidly fresh-hoppy throughout with a solid malt background, nice light herbal touches particularly late, with tingly moderate carbonation. Pretty decent attempt overall.
