Commercial Description:
12 degrees Plato. Brewed in the clasic Bavarian style, no longer common among Czech brewers. We use local wheat and pilsner malts, Saaz hops, yeast bartered from a small Bavarian brewery, and well water to brew a unique sample of Bohemian wheat. The beer is lagered for 50 days, and bottled without filtration.

Yellow, with big, lasting head. Flavour is rather mild, with banana and yeast notes, little weizen fruitiness. Definitely enjoyable.

Shady yellow color, fluffy white head. Sweet and banana scent. Malty, mineral, some fruity taste. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottle, 5.0% as Herold Bohemian Wheat Lager. Quite clovey aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. White head. Distinct flavour, clove and citrus. The citrus is slightly lemony and turns a bit rough in combination with the bitterness. The aftertaste is rough and not so pleasant.

On tap in Klatovy. A tasty drop - quite thick and unfiltered earthy taste, unusual aroma of butterscotch without the sugar (which works).

Murky yellow coloured, medium to big white head, acidic wheaty nose. Malty, light wheaty and spicy with notes of caramel and banana. Touch of cloves in bready finish. Easy drinkable but a bit watery. 5.0%

Pours very cloudy murky orange with minimal frothy head. Strong banana, cinnamon, and very bready aroma. Excellent cinnamon spice, banana and clove flavor. Quite doughy, some cookie. Very rich and filling, yet a light crisp sparkly palate. Some coffee /chocolate cookie like dryness in the finish. This is a yummy candied hearty wheat treat. Reminds me slightly of Jorger Weisse.
