Commercial Description:
Golden Revolution heralds the arrival of a new Czech pilsner standard. This handcrafted, dry hopped imperial pilsner sends a powerful message to the pilsners that have come before. Echoing the words of one of the Velvet Revolution's heroes as he dismissed the communists, Golden Revolution proclaims: "Thank you, now go away".

A hazy light orange pour. Nose is strong of honey and floral with a more subtle honey taste although still sweet taste overall. A spicy slight alcohol finish. A good desert type beer with a strong history.

Bottle at the Fourth Butters’ Cellar Clearance Event. Slightly hazy golden pour with some white head. Nose of noble hops, honey, and a hint of alcohol. Flavor is syrupy sweet, with massive amounts of honey. Perfect substitute for a dessert wine. Awesome name and label, but expensive as hell.

Love the richness. A little on the sweet side. Still a really fun beer. Big honey flavors. Desert beer.

750mL bottle at Butters’ 4th Cellar Reduction. Pours a fizzy off-white head that laces with a thick golden body. Smells of honey, yeast, and bread. Thick, sweet, honey, yeast, bread. Dessert beer.

750mL bottle. Poured crystal-clear apple juice golden with pretty much zero head. The aroma picked up honey, pale malts, and bready notes supporting a pinch of lemon zest, prickly pears, and grassy hoppage around. The flavor had primarily pale malts and honey on a syrupy core with lemon and floral bitterness surrounding.. alcohol amplified it a bit and it warmed up the belly on the finish. Medium-bodied with a heavier feel on the palate.. low carbonation with a bit too much spicy warmth on the finish.. overall a decent drink.

Bottle, Brewtopia. Nice color. Fresh grainy aroma with some cherry, cheese rind, and fruit. Slightly oxidized. Chalky with too much mineral presence.

Soft golden colour. Cheesy, grainy nose. Sweetish flavour is slightly cheesy and peanutty. I was definitely expecting something a little bit more...palatable.
