| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 24, 2009 750mL bottle. Poured crystal-clear apple juice golden with pretty much zero head. The aroma picked up honey, pale malts, and bready notes supporting a pinch of lemon zest, prickly pears, and grassy hoppage around. The flavor had primarily pale malts and honey on a syrupy core with lemon and floral bitterness surrounding.. alcohol amplified it a bit and it warmed up the belly on the finish. Medium-bodied with a heavier feel on the palate.. low carbonation with a bit too much spicy warmth on the finish.. overall a decent drink. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, China

Slightly oxidized. Chalky with too much mineral presence. Oakes (8172), Beyond the Great Firewall, China
