Commercial Description:
Golden Revolution heralds the arrival of a new Czech pilsner standard. This handcrafted, dry hopped imperial pilsner sends a powerful message to the pilsners that have come before. Echoing the words of one of the Velvet Revolution's heroes as he dismissed the communists, Golden Revolution proclaims: "Thank you, now go away".

Thanks to Drewbeerme for this beer. Golden color with white head. Aroma was very sweet with some mild noble hops. Taste was just a little uneven and had very much a ewww face involved. Stephanie says it was, "really gross." I probably would never had tried this if it weren’t for Drew, I hate him now for that.

Thanks to hopdog for opening this... Appears a transparent golden with small streams of CO2 quickly rising to the top of the small, white, bubbly head. A few spots of lacing are left around the glass. Smell is of creamed corn, sugar, brown sugar, caramel, grass, honey comb, and wet hay. Taste is mostly of the aromas with a little bit of corn syrup and vegetal stuff coming through in the taste that isn’t overly appealing. Mouthfeel is sweet, medium bodied, with a honey blast lingering with a mildly peppery finish.

750ml, corked bottle acquired in trade. Poured a medium golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of honey, wet grass and a little fruity. Tastes of honey combs, sweet apples, light grass and had a light spicey finish.

Clear pale body with tiny white head. The aroma is very sweet, caramel, grassy, honey and herbal. The flavor is cider, very sweet, herbal and honey. Full body with prickly carbonation and an astringent finish.

Bottle sampled on 1/10/07: Pours a transparent golden bronze with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet biscuity, caramely Belgian malt has some fresh, green Saaz hoppy character. Body starts with a fairly full, rich, sweet pale biscuity malty flavor with a good, fresh green hoppiness toward a bittersweet finish. Lots of pale maltiness throughout is nicely balanced with plenty of authentic hops. An enjoyable brew.

Pours a clear full golden with a creamy white head. The aroma is pretty hoppy. The maltiness is a bit on the syrupy side. This really isn’t the best beer out there. If they dried this one out a bit, it’d really improve the beer.

Hops, sugar and diacetyl nose with a touch of dms. Overly sweet almost adjunct character to it. What a waste of a good brewery.
