Bottled. Medium head forms a nice lace and is very pale beige in colur. Liquid is beautiful mahogany brown and clear. Malty aroma is somewhat sweet and has decent hops. Also dried sweet fruits like plum or raisins and nuts. Has quite the same aromatic caramel, almost honey-like sweet elements as many brown ales. Though sweet, still quite fresh. Oily and smooth mouthfeel with increasing bitter dryness towards the finish. Enjoyably rich, "clean" and fresh overall impression.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of oh6gdx. Clear, amber golden with a dense, beige head. Malty aroma with some caramel. Quite full-bodied with a very solid malt base and notes of burned caramel. The finish is dry with a light bitterness. Lovely. 160408

Malty flavor with a little toffee and a lot of grassy hops in the finish. Higher bitterness than I expected.
