My brother in law bought it for me in the bottle and it set in my refrig for a while before drinking it. The flavor is subtle but long lasting and almost nutty in resonance. The appearance is a dark golden hue. hotstuff (3176), Indiana, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 23, 2005 This bottled brew poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent light yellow brown orange colored body. The aroma was slightly astringent with malt hop bready notes. The mouth feel was tingly from start to finish with a mild astringency and crisp semi-thick lager feeling. The aroma also contained the same malt hop mild astringent bready sweet notes. SoLan (1427), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 26, 2005 Gold. Insignificant, off-white head. Malt, some sweetness, and some kind of roasted spice in the aroma-intriguing for a lager. Same flavor. Light/medium body, easy drinking. One of the better lagers I’ve had, 3.1 seems low. redlight (1495), Winter Park, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 14, 2005 A bit of a musty aroma. Pours blonde. Very different most lagers that i’ve had. Malty up front, a little honey, and spicy finish. Tubbfan (144), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 15, 2005 Poured a dark golden out of the bottle, exhibiting a small white head with some lacing. Constant supply of bubbles like champagne adds to the crispness of this lager. I’ve noticed sometimes when a beer is initially skunky, I have to let it breathe to get a fair representation of the aroma and taste. This was true of this lager as well. Once it had a chance to breathe, there was very little aroma of Saaz hops, but the flavor was much better dominated by the muted malt. A very drinkable lager, but not much there to make me want to come back for more gsmitty80 (650), Washington DC, USA

It was a very harsh tasting beer and was hard to take down. Id like to give it another try. guzzler67 (1286), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 19, 2005 Clear, light gold with a sweet malt aroma and faint spicy notes. Moderate carbonation, light-to-medium bodied mouthfeel. Nicely hopped with some soft bitterness, but the malts dominate the balance. Clear, dry finish.
