Commercial Description:
12 degrees Plato. Brewed in the clasic Bavarian style, no longer common among Czech brewers. We use local wheat and pilsner malts, Saaz hops, yeast bartered from a small Bavarian brewery, and well water to brew a unique sample of Bohemian wheat. The beer is lagered for 50 days, and bottled without filtration.

pours a very cloudy very dark yellow with a one finger bubbly off white head. aroma is wheat, pilsner malt, and a dash of saaz hops and lemon. has a medium body with ok lacing and descent carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but a bit stronger. a different beer but they pulled off a descent brew. has a little apple cider aroma and flavor as well. also has a little creamy mouth-feel. as it warms there is some maple syrup/molasses aroma and flavor.

Only few breweries in the Czech Republic brew German style Hefeweizen. Large head, amber colour. There is a flavour reminiscent of apples, which I find remarkable. Yeasty and malty with dry and well-hopped finish.

Golden saffron in color, slight off white head. Nose is light and floral in nature. Sweet malts, lemon, honey, banana bread, cloves, and a hint of smokiness. Refreshing and crisp with a thin, clean finish. One of the best, if not the best, hefeweizens I have tasted.

Poured from a large battle into a pint glass. A semi-clear, light amber to dark gold color with a medium-sized, audibly bubbly head that was light and foamy. The aroma was complex and pleasant with most noticeably a medley of hops and fruity scents including what seemed to be apricot, banana, and grapefruit. Also present was a light caramel malt scent and a mixture of wheat and yeast notes. The taste was sweet to sour and full, with only a touch of mild bitterness. It had a full, grainy mouthfeel and left a dry and sticky feeling on the palate; average amounts of carbonation. I had not expected to enjoy this beer so much and was very pleasantly surpirsed; a very drinkable warm weather beer.

Thanks Dave. The beer pours to a hazy pale yellow gold body with a thin white head. The aroma is wheat, bananas, graham crackers, lager yeast. The flavor is wheat graham crackers, subtle tart plantains, wheat. Rich body that fits well in a hefeweizen.
