Mar 3, 2005 Bottle at Andy’s. Golden, clear, white head. Clean straw and malt aroma with a slight hop note. Nice rich malt character with a little bit of noble hop flavor and bitterness to cut through the malt sweetness. This is a crisp lager with some nice character to it.

Feb 26, 2005 Big pompadour white foam head over a pinky light gold, super clear beer. OK label, but a world class bottlecap with a central European coat-of-arms thing going on. Dry, crackery pils aroma. None of the butt bandaid smell that virtually every other Bohemian Pils that I’ve had has reeked of. A straight-up pils, dry but with some nutty malt sweetness, fairly hoppy, biscuit-like malts, some straw, some grass. Nothing special, but enjoyable. Session weight, medium-long malt and hop finish.

Feb 10, 2005 Deep gold, decent head. Big aroma of hay, grass clippings, some floral, quite hoppy. Hay and kraut flavors play in the mouth, turning floral and finishing with a faint hint of chervil. Good, balancing malt backbone, reminds one of a good multi-grain bread. Top-notch pils, I’ve been really impressed with this brewery.

Feb 10, 2005 Thanks to matta for this one. This is a world class pils. Dark straw pour with a big, frothy, white head. Aroma of malt, honey, fruit, hops. The aroma has some Belgian trippel qualities. Tastes malty, with honey, hops, and fruit at the finish. Great complexity. A standout Bopils.

Feb 7, 2005 Bottle. Gold body. Small white head. Nose is herbal and floral with a nice hop aroma. Taste is like chicken broth with lemon and floral hops. Light spicy and earthy notes. Toasty buttery malts as well. Body is fully carbonated with a medium feel. Nice dryness around the end. Finish is buttery and toasted malts, light earthiness and more floral hops. Nice beer!

Jan 29, 2005 Glad i can finally get this stuff here. Dryier than I expected, with nice spicey Saaz hops. Nice long finish.

Dec 15, 2004 Slightly hazy golden. Very carbonated and crisp. A good, well balanced, and very drinkable beer. Great sweet malty flavor.
