Aroma has some floral hops, grains and mild detergent notes. Clear golden body with a diminishing thumb thick white head. Assertive and crisp in the fore with very slightly smoke accented malts int he middle. Light hops in the finish. Some mild lemongrass notes and a refreshing wetness to the finish that makes it a quencher. I thought the Old Stork by Herold had a better flavor, but that is probably the ale lover in me favoring the breadiness of the Stork.

Light head. Full golden colour. Bright. Lightly herbal, flowery, lemony, hop aroma. Textured, creamy, malt background. Late hoppy dryness. A beautifully balanced beer of some delicacy. Very good. Lots and lots of flavor. A quite heavy lager. Not the same as the picture (the one I had was Pivovar Herold Breznice Czech Premium Lager, white/red label with knight shield )

Almost head free. Looks and smells like apple juice, but happily enough doesn’t taste like it. Nice mouthfeel, gentle flavour. Vaguely more intense aftertaste however.

Bottle, provided by Pivnizub
Bready sweet malt and saaz aroma. Amber, low carbonation, relatively low head. Straw malt, honey and minerally dust base, then and subtle saaz hop profile kicks in, quite delicate. Honeyish and light herbal finish. Welllagered sparkly mouthfeel, on the thinner side. I really need to go to Czech epublic and try these beers on tap....

Double thanks to Degarth for a bonus beer that was also on my wants list! Brilliantly clear deep gold color that easily raises a long lasting sticky white head. Lemony sour aroma with plenty of malt underneath. Sweet, well balbnced with just enough hop bitterness and a nice touch of dryness in the finish. Solid, with plenty of body that makes this one a keeper.

No head or lacing, kinda looks like what I purge on a Saturday morning, smells and tastes like freshly cut grass, lemony aftertaste. Hmm, not too much appealing yet. A little more body than water. Nope, can’t say anything good about this Czech import. Sorry.
