Commercial Description:
Engelsk i stilen.

[Draft] A hazy orange beer with a small disappearing head. The aroma is very fruity and hoppy. The flavor is very fresh - with a very fresh hop flavor and lots of notes of oil and grass, and a fine bitterness. Except for the alcohol content this reminds me more of an IPA than a pale ale.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pretty, slightly hazy, amber coloured beer with a small, fine, creamy head. Very intense bitterness, but at the same time very crisp and aromatic. A bit low in carbonation, but an interesting debut from Herslev. 050504

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge slight off-white head. Mainly caramel sweet malt aroma with a slight orange fruity note beneath. Flavour is a bit opposite to the aroma, here the orange/grapefruit notes are by far more dominant than the malt base. Citric and slight acidic flavour, going into a rather dry bitter finish. Only a vague malt sweetness can be tasted.

Sampled draught at Dansk Ølfestival.
Pale amber, cloudy. Fruity, grassy and lightly ashy. Sweet and hoppy, soft and flowery. Balanced bitter, hay-like finish. Very British.

Bottle. Unclear light to medium amber color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, sour malt, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (211107)

Draught. Aroma has some fruitiness from aroma hops. Greyish copper colour. Very small head. Malty flavour, but with rough bitterness and rough carbonation.

Bottled. Hazy orange golden colour with mediumsized white creamy head. Some lace. Aroma is mild fruits, some grass as well as mild notes of caramel and some sap. Flavour is fruity and quite wooden. Ends in a fruity and grassy bitterness. Pleasant.
