De gisting van ons Bockbier vindt plaats bij hoge temperaturen, deze traditionele gistingsmethode wordt daarom hoge- of bovengisting genoemd. Het levert een uitgesproken koppig bier op met een volle, romige smaak, waarin een vleugje karamel valt te ontdekken. Een bitterzoet herfstbier dat door velen zeer gewaardeerd wordt.

Pours very dark red with a white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is spicy of caramel and fruits. Flavor is of licorice, sweet and bitter. Well balanced. Medium carbonation, abrupt bittersweet finish.

Bottle. Pours dark, brown/ ruby red. Brownish head. Good, sweet aroma. Beer looks really good. Taste has bitter and sweet notes. Good Dunkler Bock availible in the local super market.

Bottle. Dark red coloured, small quick diminishing head. aroma of caramel, malts, somewhat herbal,or spicy. A bit sweetness in it. Taste is domintaingly sweet, a bit bitterness. A reasonable dutch bock.

Brown with red glimts and a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with caramel, roasted malt and chocolate notes. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, chocolate and caramel notes. Finished sweet.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts malty and strong, not too roasty, not too sweet. Finish is a bit too thin. Okay!
