(Bottle 33 cl) This beer pretty much exploded out of the bottle when I removed the cap - oh my, what a shooter. So beware...
Very dark brown with a tall, creamy head. Malty and sweetish with a potent, full body. Huge sediment. 170302

Sep 3, 2008 half litre in nice ceramic bottle. pours very dark brown, medium light-brown fine head.
aroma is dark fruits, raisins, red wine.
flavor is sweet, honey, slight sour flavor, a bit watery, but still feels very "full". nice flavor, some roasted stuff also in there. lots of stuff in the flavor just under the main impressions,including some of the aroma flavors.

Aug 11, 2008 Ceramic bottle. Brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, brown sugar, yeast. Flavour is earthy, yeast, brown sugar and roasted malts, some raisins. Nice soft dubbel.

Jul 28, 2008 50cl bottle. Great ceramic bottle, adding to the excitement pre-tasting. Great dubbel, pours well, dark brown colour, burnt roasted taste. tremendous.

May 16, 2008 0,5lt Stone rock black bottle. Very deep brownish color, creamy beige head. Fruity aroma and taste, mostly red forest fruit with hints of caramel. Not so complex but rather enjoyable nevertheless.
